Topics will include chiropterans, edentates, cervids, callitrichids, New world primates, Sciuridae, toxic plants, infectious diseases of elephants, giraffe and okapi anesthesia, crocodilians, zoonoses of ectotherms, large felid noninfectious disease, free living felid infectious diseases, aquatic invertebrates, free living marine mammals, fish, diseases of free living and captive herpetofauna, reptile and amphibian anatomy and physiology, and epidemiologic techniques.
Speakers will include Dr. Matt Allender, Veterinarian, University of Illinois; Dr. Chris Bonar, Director of Animal Health, Dallas Zoo; Dr. J. Jill Heatley, Associate Professor, College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, Texas A&M University; Dr. Lauren Howard, Associate Veterinarian, Houston Zoo; Dr. Stephanie McCain, Veterinarian, Birmingham Zoo; Dr. Javier Nevarez, Assistant Professor of Zoological Medicine, Louisiana State University, and Dr. Maryanne Tocidlowski, Associate Veterinarian, Houston Zoo.
In addition mock Day 1, Day 2 and Practical portions of the exams will be included on a daily basis with material drawn from previous lectures. Approximately 35 hours of CE credit will be available to veterinarians. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with ACZM exam committee members regarding the examination and presenters will provide their study strategies.

All activities will be held at the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. The college is located on Raymond Stotzer Parkway in College Station.
If you are arriving via Highway 6, take the University Drive exit and proceed west on University Drive. The street becomes Raymond Stotzer Parkway and the college is on the right at the corner of Agronomy Road and Stotzer.
If you are arriving via Highway 21, exit Highway 47 at the Riverside Campus. Continue on Highway 47 until it intersects with Raymond Stotzer Parkway (also Highway 60), turning left toward the main TAMU campus. The college is on the left approximately one mile east of Easterwood Airport.
